Old Board Members: Where Are They Now?

I was going through some old posts on this board. I wonder what ever happened to some of the people. There were a few who posted quite alot but you don't see them anymore. Does any of the oldtimers know what ever happened with these people? I know one girl her name was Sir_Trouserz and then there was another named Denise who had BFS for like 30 years. I just wonder why they post anymore of if their BFS went away.

When I came to the board a year and a half ago, one of the first things I did was try to track down some of those old 2003 and 2004 oldtimers. I wanted to see whatever happened to them. Most of them either just forgot their bfsforum.com password, or they no longer cared about their twitches anymore. In fact, I think most people were sort of embarrassed that they used to spend so much time on this board. A lot of them seemed to show no interest whatsoever in coming back.People just move on. It's how you cope with this condition.

Some of them are still around, just not currently posting on the forum. Alot of them you can catch in PMs because they do still check occasionally.

I think a lot of people move on because mentally it's better for them not to constantly focus on this stuff. I'm so grateful for people like LisaLM, Kit, Basso, etc. because they are here for us even though their lives would probably be easier if they didn't check the board quite so often!

I doubt if anything nasty happened to them they just moved on.Now as for me, maybe I just died, but just a moment did I see a twitch just there, well it seems I must be alive after all I just stopped worrying about it, there is a lot worse in this world, I have in the space of the last few months lost two Uncles and an Aunt to Cancer.

I'm not embarrassed spending time on bfsforum.com. I don't care about twitching no more specially after clean EMG done this year after four years break. I'm here from time to time and all of you old and new members are welcome to send me private messaege if you want to.
