OK...so, I went out tonight with a few friends...had some drinks. Came home and thought I felt fine, I think my twitching in arches of feet is gone(at least for now). I take my sock off and I dont see it. Yeah! I guess I have alittle OCD so I go under the light and ....I see this tiny and I mean tiny(only can see it under light) non stop flickering only in left foot! ahhh! THis is a sx of *** isnt it? It is just flickering and flickering! very small under the skin movement. That isnt BFS! I am so scared. Had anyone thought their twitching is gone and look under a light and see it going and going?

whats the rule?Weakness precedes Twitching in ALS.Twitching without weakness is no big dealSo unless you were limping noticeably, I think you are fine.

I know that is what I keep telling myself. But, these twitches in my left foot will not stop! It is same spot and when I look under the light it is twitching even more than I thought! Is this BFS? I guess I am freaking out more b/c I havent had an EMG and it is same spot 24/7. I have a neuro appt on Monday and i am going to demand one. That is why I am even more freaked out!

The fine twitches are very common with BFS, it does not mean anything, I get them like crazy on the hand, thenar muscle mainly. Try and relax the best you can, and most important, believe what your Neuro tells you on Monday

I twitch focally, randomly, thumpers, popcorn, superfine...all of them combined, they come, they go, they stay, they...well they never completely disappear. I also have quite a bit of burning fatigue in my arm...but it ain't ALS.many many others on here have very hot spots with cramping, exercise intolerance, thumpers..etc. We all have some variant, and there is no normal BFS. But there is one thing that is very normal in ALS, and that's weakness.Don't worry dude, try not to look for it and chill and have a nice beer or something.
