Numbness Sensations Everywhere?

Can anyone relate to (real) numbness sensations anywhere? I mean I am now dealing with the twitches and aches everywhere for over one year now, have been checked many times with "almost no" result but during the last weeks it (the fasciculations) seemed to flare up in / on my face and since yesterday my right side of the face feels a little bit numb. Not completely, but I can feel a little asymmetry when I touch it  Why does "it" allway have to invent something new, when you just learned to life with the old symptoms?? I didn't want to go to any doctor anymore... But right now I am really scared by this because the FCS should only affect motor neurons and not the sensoric ones (or am I wrong?)...

hi nic,i've had a numb foot on and off. now the strange thing is it's not totally numb, like if i scratch it i can still feel it, but it feels numb to me. actually don't worry to much i've had all sorts of weird sensations over the years, it must just be associated with bfs. neurologists i have seen have not appeared concerned.regardssharon

I think its all part of the fun package!! I feel like I've had everything possible so far(been twitching for 6 mo's now) Twitches all over, weird face sensations, vibrations from legs to lips, tingling, body jolts as I go to sleep, the works.... as I think we all know, just have to ride it out....and wait for the next "fun" sensation!!

Hey anguslover, you are right. I am now having buzzing tingling in my left foot. This is new for me and the first thing I thought of is...well, that isn't **S. How sick is that thought process?Linda

Yeah I get numbness to.And like a previous poster, I can still scratch it, so it is not totally numb. And if I massage it, the numbness seems to temporarily go away. When you have a new symptom I suggest doing a board search. Most all you have written about have been experienced before. That being said, as this occurs, and if you got the $ you might want to periodically get yourself checked out, just in case.I sometimes see this as my quest: my solution or living to deal with BFS. It is a quest, a marathon, not a sprint. Stay cool and take it one day at a time.Hope that helps.-43RichyThe43rd
