Nonstop Foot Twitching: Will it Stop?

HI Hank!My feet arches, mainly the left one have been going for a couple of days now! Which is something a bit new for me as I have not had much trouble with my feet twitching!! My continuous hot spots are my calves, they have been going since this all started mid Sept last year!Warm regardsSandra

Hi hanki had in it exactly the same area in my feet for about 6 weeks or so but now its reducing somewhat, like Sandra i have it in my calves quite frequently at the moment, particularly the left. i'm getting to the stage where i'm not that bothered to be honest, they can twitch away all they want, its hardly a life threatening symptom in itselftake careRich

My left foot arch twitches now for about 2 weeks 24/7! It makes me very nervous. It's a very fast twitching, more a fibrillation and it looks like somene is cooking popcorn under my Skin! :D) The twitches stopp when I am active (standing on my feet or walking), they only twich while I'm resting. It's kinda creepy to see the fasciculations under my skin I must admitt!

Well Hank this is my most annoying symptom. I am about 2 years into the left arch twitching and the right rarely does. So naturally this has me looking for atrophy. Also my left foot hurst all the time. My neuros just looked at it and said "well its very common in the feet and legs...its annoying but nothing will stop it". My last neuro told me it could be a few years...to a lifetime. I have considered shooting my arch with a hollow point it really gets to me that bad. Some times it feels like there is a scorpion in my shoe going to town pinching me and stinging me. There is a video on youtube of a guy on here named "fragglerick" that I have talked to. If you think yours are bad, that video will make you feel good I bet. His are about 2x worse than mine. Which mine are non stop and have been for a year and a half in the left foot. I mean I have had twitches everywhere including the tongue and the arch takes the cake. Because if you have a shoe on you can feel it for sure. I sleep with socks on so if my foot touches the bed I dont feel them as much. As to the question if you feel them standing up or not, its because when you apply pressure to the muscle you dont feel them. I can promise you they are still going on. I sometimes sit with my right foot over my left arch and push down so I cant feel them. Or the best is I tap my left foot up and down all day to not feel them also. But it was comforting for my last neuro to look at them go crazy in my arches and calve and say "yep its bfs" and NO you dont need more tests. Both my neuros (which did their internship at the MAYO in MN said that the feet and legs are the WORST for twitches. I was concerned because mine is in one foot, but I have maybe had about 10 days of random pops in the right. So good luck, if I decide to shoot my foot off I will let you guys know if the twitches go to my ankle =) ha ha!

Mine also dont stop if I flex every muscle in my foot or not, they just keep going. This kinda threw me for another panic attack because I had read that if you flex and they stop its benign"...well that cant be right because both my neuros didnt even have me flex.
