No EMG Despite Three Suggestions

At my most recent neuro visit (last week - six month recheck), my neuro didn't recommend an EMG. She saw no reason, given that my reflexes were somewhat lower and the one reflex that was still elevated (left ankle, FWIW) hadn't changed in six months. In general, there's no reason to do a repeat EMG unless something has changed for the worse (weakness, major hyperreflexia, etc.).

i had two emgs done by two different neros. one only did upper body and neck and spine. other one went for both legs and feet. first one was perfect. he told me he saw no sign of als. Second one said normal emg with some faciculations in medials only. the only thing scary to me was they were only two weeks apart and only one month into wide spread faciculations. Columbia doc said he would like to do his own in a couple of months. But added that is very much appears benign as my reflexes are brisk but he said still normal and by strengh is very good. i still work out everyday just to prove to myself that i still can. Thank God i'm able to. The stress of having another to look forward to in July is interfering with my sleep and much else unfortunately. thank you all for your encouragement and my they someday cure ALS or at least make it a managable disease that you can funtion and maintain a pretty normal life like ms. Look with whats happened with AIDS they are really letting people live normal lives. More awareness and money for this one really needs to hit washington.
