No Answers: Painful Muscles

Angus - you are still here and suffering I'm sorry to see. You have tried all the regular stuff, right? Hot baths, meditation, breathing exercises? If not then give them a try just to get some relief. All these things helped me when I was in the worse parts of pnh. I'm popping back in at the forum - haven't been around in a while with too much work and also I have found a way out of the pnh quagmire (see my reply to juliacristina). The problem is that people have to be in the right mind-set to accept a different approach such as the one I've found and I know that I probably wouldn't have accepted this path earlier on. That plus all my highly recommended specialists ruled out this whole idea early on because my symptoms (muscle spasms, cramps, etc.) also occurred while I was sleeping (reported by my husband). This just shows how even the top of the field guys don't understand the unconscious mind. One does not have to be a hypochondriac, one can have real symptoms, and still have somatic roots for them. Best of luck and hope you find some relief. If nothing else works for you, a couple of really strong drinks never hurt.

Yeahm the pain has been particularly bad of late. I have constant 24x7 pain from neck to my feet. I have constant muscle activity in legs and very pronounced muscle fatigue....although I can still do everything, I feel that the pain is the worst it has ever been.......it does get me down.I am trying to get an appt with a neurologist that specialises in these "weird" issues...

Yeah, I did have a read and I agree with you. It seems to have snuck up on me though, over a course of about 3 years. I hope it does not continue to get worse because the pain is most uncomfortable.....Keep Low, move fast......
