I'm assuming that, twisted as it sounds, it's actually a good thing that all 4 extremeties are cramping (instead of just one). None the less, it hurts and it is annoying. I am not noticing any weakness. Anyone have any ideas on making this more bearable? Any reasurring words about how 'normal' this is? This is kind of new to me (although I did have arch pain in my right fot way back when I first started having problems..Nov 08).Jess

Jess, both of my feet arches cramp a lot when at rest. I have to stand up to try to get it to stop, it is pretty painful. Although I have 24/7 twitching in my arches (nonstop). The fact that you have had these symptoms since January with no weakness should be somewhat reassuring. Although I am no doctor I would think that with all of your limbs affected, it doesnt sound sinister. Try drinking a tall glass of tonic water, my Doc said that one of the ingrediants can relieve cramping, I think it was quinine. Anyway try to keep a positive attitude with this stuff and not let it bring you down in the dumps, it's so not worth it. F*** BFS.

I'm having a lot of pain in my hands (especially the thumbs) for the past two months. I am also "glad" that it is in both at the same time. I'm not really sure what constitutes a cramp. They are not tensing up or contracting painfully or anything like that. Just aching pain. Same for you?
