GOOD DAYHJ MAKES 8 MONTHS, I'M HAVING THE fasciculations CORPO.AGORA'M GETTING MORE ON TOP HAND COMING TO MOVE THE INDEX FINGER WITHOUT FREQUEZA ATROPHY OR BUT SAW THIS REPORT THAT LEFT ME WITH FEAR:In Sept. I had my first episode of a spasm in my left hand, thumb and fingers kind of bent inward and my wrist hurt like hell. Physically I had to move my fingers back into position to stop the spasm.The in Oct. I started having fasciculations in my left arm ... I mean like buzzing / jumping all night. This Lasted about a week or so and then stopped. Around same-que team I could watch the fingers on my left hand twitch and dance around like a Mind of Their Own. This would happen on and off all the time.At work I Performed maintenance on the various machines we used. 4 of Them use an aluminum cap about 1 1/4 inch in diameter, that is threaded and screwed onto a short piece of pipe. Anyway it's only hand tightened, by me, every time I perform maintenance.Sometime in December I went to loosen this cap using my left hand, BTW I'm a righty but access was easier with the left thumb / forefinger. For the first team I could not loosen the cap, I had to use my right thumb / forefinger. Two weeks later I did loosen it with my left and I thought maybe the last time was a fluke ... but only on 2 out of 4 machines? After that last team when i could use my left thumb / forefinger, I Could never again, on any of Them. I always had to use my right hand.There were other signs of weakness between the left thumb / forefinger que que team around I noticed too but definitely well after the fasciculations had started.So for me it was Spasticity (Which BTW Could be hereditary since my Mom has these spasms too) now ----Fasciculations/twitching----weakness----and atrophy between my left thumb / forefinger Which I just started seeing the first of this month ..But nighthawk is correct, over 90% of PALS start with fasciculations before weakness.I have read que only between 3 and 8% have fasciculations before weakness.In my case I can affirm que fasciculations did Occur well before weakness.ATTNETIMUS
