Hello, I am new here. I have read a lot of posts, which have calmed me down a bit, but still scared b/c I dont know what is going on with my body. I started getting twitching in left foot back in august. Then I got tingling so I thought MS got MRI and clean. So, the twitching went away a bit, but then I started with muscle pain thighs, hands, shoulders...not horrible pain, more like you worked out at the gym (which I havent since August). I get numb toes here and there too and now, I started getting constant twitching in my left foot(mostly arches) ...it doesnt stop! I can see it moving all the time! It just keeps moving and right after I flex it will go crazy twitching! Is this normal for BFS? Even when I cant feel it and look at my foot, it is twitching, but mostly I can feel it. Now, I get it in both feet! My left is much worse though. What worries me is that even when I am standing they are twitching and I thought that if it was BFS they wouldnt be. I occasionally get it in my arms, back, butt and calves, but it is constantly in my feet! When I went to Neuro for follow up he wasnt concerned about the twitching and did some reflex things and that was it. No EMG or anything. SO, do you think I should get an EMG? I called this week and the neuro suggested a somatosensory evoked potentional study...does anyone else know about this test and do you think that would be enough to rule out cetain MND?

Many Many have twitching in feet. I have the muscle aches and pain (along with fatigue/weakness...and I have the twitching)The neuro's tests can rule out anything nasty. Things like the Babinsky are pretty good at finding peripheral nerve problems. If you are too worried, ask for an EMG, but the more I listen to stories on here, the more it is clear that neurologists know what they are doing.Good Luck Dude,Scott

Do you have the twitching all the time... I mean should I be scared b/c when I am standing I can feel the twitching? I know everyone says in the relax muscle... and when you are standing that isnt relaxing! Can anyone see the twicthing right after they flex their foot? I will flex and then relax it and then the muscle twitching goes crazy! It is like popcorn! Is that BFS?Also, does anyone get pain where the twitching is? My arches of my feet are sore!
