Hello,I'm Dieter - 30 years old and I'm new here. I started twitching 8 months ago. At first I didn't think much of it. But after a couple of months I googled it and came with MND's. I went to my GP who refered me to a neuro, this one did a clinical and set it was allright. But my twitching is mainly localized at one leg, my right one. It's twitching non-stop for 8 months. It's always twitching and I have those weird feelings : if there is stuff crawling in it. Is this normal? Should I be alarmed because I mainly twitch in my right leg (ALL THE TIME !! NON-STOP) I have random twitches a couple every hour. I read most have random and that those are not the one to worry about.Could someone help me please?Thank you very Much

Hi Dieter - no it's not 'normal' but it seems that thousands of people have it and live with it so don'ty freak out. There's a whole group of guys here that get this thing constantly - some even posted youtube videos of it (ugh!) Do a site search - you will see..... you are fine - just a little off 'normal' like the rest of us.

Welcome Dieter, I have popcorn twitches but I know that there are a lot here that do have the localized along with the random sporatic ones. Localized in the calves seem VERY common and I was told that is a VERY common place. Speak with Chris_Uk his are localized non stop in his calve. (both I think). I also sugguest you follow the poster by the name SEANRBLOCK look for his name under members names and search his posts he had left side foot that twitched for I believe almost 3 years straight. He's fine and golden. Just Bfs. You've seen the neuro , Relax..but to tell ya the truth I didnt breathe until I had my EMG and there are still times I get breathless with anxiety but thats just that anxiety. Lovely

The constant twitching in your leg is nothing to worry about, it is not normal, but it is not going to do anything more than annoy you and maybe cause some fatigue and slight weakness in the leg. Welcome to the forum, just remember BFS can strike anywhere, the back, tongue, back of the hand, jaw, you name it, do not be suprised if this occurs for you. Your description of "stuff crawling in it" is totally common, have had his worms in my calf feeling for going on two years, and constant visible twitching.
