Neuros Opinion on Twitches and Anxiety

I just got back from the neuro who was not at all concerned by my twitches and other weird ailments. Prescbribed me something that should help them, we will see. He is attributing my twitches to my anxiety issues. I am going to try and take a break from this site and others for a bit just for my own sanity :) Haha, I will probably be back tommorrow.

He has heard of BFS though which was reassuring. And he didn't even mention MS till I brought it up, that is what I was scared of. He said he could do a brain MRI if it would be "reassuring" to me, I asked if it was necessary, if he thought I should get one and he said "no". So I am going to wait for a bit and see. I am going to focus on reducing my anxiety and see if it reduces my twitches.

I wish everyone the best of luck with everything. You have helped me out SO SO SO much, more than my own friends and family honestly.

I really don't think it does to put it down to anxiety.

My anxiety is a lot less since I saw the neuro, but my tongue has not stopped twitching, nor I expect will it, just to suit someones thery.

Exactly. I saw a wonderful neuro and my muscle (tongue, especially) are the same although now I think 'oh, it's just that stupid BFS....."
