Neurologist Appointment - All Clear!

So I just had my appointment with a neurologist. Everything went well with the exam no weakness or anything. And the dent I was worried about is not something she was worried about. She did not think it was *** and did not feel I needed to do a emg. The only thing she noticed was when she checked my tongue my mouth kind of shook on both sides. I had never noticed it before. She didn't think it was *** related even if it was something. But now I'm worried about that.. Has anyone else had this. She was very nice and told me to live my life and made me another appointment for march which I was told if I'm feeling better I can cancel... Any thoughts... Now all I can think is I didn't say how for a bit when I chewed my mouth felt tired..... Ugh".... Relief for a few min and now worried again.....

Well, that's how the majority of us are: relief temporarily and then the worry again (because of our stupid symptoms). The fact that she thinks you're fine and isn't sending you for an EMG couldn't be better. If she had any suspicion of anything bad - she would be sending you for an EMG. I promise you that.Trust her. Please. We don't trust our doctors enough. They know so much more than we do, despite the fact that most of us have scoured the Internet and read every article and webpage related to twitching! :)Mitra

I know exactly what I would say unfortunately I'm not very good at reassuring myself. I'm doing better since my appointment my anxiety level has dropped significantly. But my OCD is still an issue. I'm concentrating on how many times I need to clear my throat or if my voice sounds different like I can't project it. It's a bit overwhelming.... I did notice something that I wanted to ask about... I've noticed once and a while I seem to take involuntary large breaths sometimes it will be right before I go to speak.... Does that sound like anxiety.. If it was a breathing issue do you think it would feel like I needed to take a deep breath... Which it doesn't really
