Neuro Exam went well...
He tested reflexes, balance, leg and arm strength, etc.
Here it is in a nutshell ...
* biting your tongue is not an issue
* he didn't know anything or really care about strength differences in doninant/non-dominant sides, he is looking for clinical weakness
* a repeat emg after 15 months is completely unnecessary and would only be done to soothe the patients anxiety.
* after 15 months you would definitely show signs of mnd, no question
* cramps in calves is the most common place for cramps in BFS.
After the exam he was basically like "yah, yah, Troy, nothing I haven't heard before" and was ready to move on to the next patient. He was totally convinced that I don't have *** and didn't seem interested in even discussing it any more.
He also told me to stay off the community because I was getting saturated in the problem.
So, there it is ... hope that helps anyone who after many months of twitching may still be worrying.
I need to move on now ...
God bless,
Troy
