Today my neuro used a snow day and did not make her appointment with me, so I will be going this Thursday at 9am. Also due to a recent issue with a member that posts here I would like to say something. I have always posted here with the most accurate and non biased info directly from my muscular specialist and then my neuro. After my last set of EMG's I decided to only come back to encourage and provide info to new people and others that had struggled just as I had with BFS. This other member has called into question my information and ability to convey factual information learned during these visits. I post here with the ONLY intent of providing accurate knowledge that can help people through the rough times we have all faced. I feel that giving back my time is a cycle just like those (like Basso) that took the time to help me through my hardest times with BFS. I enjoy talking to all of you, and I promise you I have never said ANYTHING that has not been directly communiated to me by my neurologist. Everyone knows there are exeptions to everything in life, however we know that twitching without clinical weakness or atrophy is NOT ALS. I come to this board to learn what it could be, and possible treatments to help me in the future. My beginning focus was on my ALS fears that have almost completely gone now. So I just wanted to tell you all that I appreciate you and I would NEVER say anything that would just give comfort or not be factual. I just had to clear that up and let you know I am here for no other reason than what most of us here are for and thats encouragement and to help others through this period in their life. Sean
