Hi everyone,I'm 17 years old and have been experiencing multiple unexplained tremors for 9 months now and was wondering if it could be BFS, it is a very long story but I have uploaded videos of some of the tremors to youtube and would be so greatful if anyone could take a look and share their advice. I've seen two neurologists and both have been rather reluctant to help. I've got the basic story on my youtube page thing. Please if anyone can help, dont hesitate to.Here is the link with the videosThe tremors are in most other places too but these are the most noticable ones.

HI thereDoesn't look like BFS to me. It is encourageing that neither of the 2 neurologists you saw found anything to worry about.Might be worth going back to get further advice though.RegardsSimon

Hello Tremor,Sorry to hear of your tremors. Without the twitches, I like Simon, doubt you have BFS. I could be wrong but somewhere I might have read that a certain type of tremor is heredity, I could be wrong. DO other members of your family tremor as well? Also I believe I read that essential tremor sometimes starts about your age. Just throwing this out there. Stay well. RB

Hi guys,Thanks very much for the fast replies, unfortunately nobody else we know of in my family is having or has had tremors, it's just me. I'll hopefully be able to see the neurologists again soon. Unfortunately they just seem baffled by it all. If anyone else has seen it before or anything please dont hesitate to comment. Thanks again!

tremor17,I had a lumbar puncture with my neuro work-up. I did not find it that unpleasant. I had to lay flat and still for a few hours afterward which was a little annoying. I got a nasty headache over 24 hours later but a narcotic mixed with Tylenol (I think it was called Darvocet) knocked it right out within about 20 minutes and it never returned. I would ask for a pain pill just in case you get the headache.By the way, the lumbar puncture did not show anything in my case.Krackersones

Thanks for the reassurance Krackersones, hopefully it'll all go okay :) Have you seen the tremors or experienced any of the ones I'm having before?

Hi again everyone,Sorry for the late reply but unfortunately I have only just got out of hospital because after my lumbar puncture I developed a post lumbar puncture leak that didn't stop so it had to be patched with some of my bood. There was a risk of having a bleed on my brain but that was okay. I'll keep updating stuff but have to rest and recouparate for the moment.

I was diagnosed by my PCP a bunch of years ago with essential tremor in my left hand. It's not really an issue for me. My mother has it more noticeably. I haven't really looked into it much, but there are ET resources such as essentialtremor.org and wemove.org. It's my understanding that ET typically develops in middle age but can start any time.

I have the exact same issue, had it all my life just got worse around age 21. It's not quite as bad as what you show in the videos, but just certain movements w/ my back, feet, hands can cause similar tremors to your videos.
