of tongue myokimia on a neurology site...I can tell you now that a little flicker on the edge of your tongue once in a while is not myokimia...There is a REAL differnence in what I have sometimes an what I saw in this video...NO, I will not post it because too many people will watch it OVER AND OVER AND OVER...Later...

I get the little flickers every day, a few times a day. Sometimes they feel like about 10 seconds of tiny twitching in one tiny spot but most of the time it feels like a little electric shock. This has happened the same every day for almost a year now and had never happened before so I know it is not a figment of my imagination. How many others have something similar that they KNOW is not just being over vigilent about body sensations?I know this conversation has been had before but it is such a disturbing symptom that I could not help but want to raise it again and this post gave me the perfect opening.Krackersones
