Myclonic Jerks and Twitching: Help Needed

Ok, I have a question. I have been having twitching for 4 weeks all over. Now I started getting these little body jerks. It's hard to explain but it's like I have twitching on the outside of my body now. Like my leg will jerk or my thumb or my shoulder. I don't know if these are myclonic jerks or another form of twiching. Seems like it started when I started on Lexapro. Anyone have anything simular to this? I am really starting to get scared with all this. I am going to a new doctor tomorrow and plan on discussing this since I can't get into a neuro until July. Thanks.

That is very common in the beginning. It's like, "did I just move that on purpose?" It will subside over time and after you adjust to your medication. Sleep jerks are also very common and nothing to worry about.Becky

I get those sleep-jerks. I've had my whole body jerk and I've also had my jaw jerk...esp as I am falling asleep.Jess

i get those body jerks as well. everywhere. hate them.
