have had thumb twitches for years and have had the "ringing in ears" for years as well. My ringing comes and goes, sometimes accompanied by dizziness; have had two mri's because of the dizziness, (I requested). My current ringing has been accompanied by more twitches than usual, (thumb included), but no dizziness. I have noticed over the years, that several "weird things" will happen at once or in sequence. Please don't waste years worrying like I did. I really regret the time wasted worrying; I'm still here, and my muscles are functioning normal after over 3 decades of twitching, pins & needles, etc., but have had high blood pressure, bleeding ulcers, heart irrregulaties etc. The worrying has caused a lot of other genuine health concerns. I know it's scary, but try not to worry and please take care of yourself. I'm sure you're fine. I'm concerned that in the long run, worrying is what will cause more damage to most people on this forum then symptoms of BFS, (I was hospitalized twice last year due to stress related heart issues,) it catches up with you if you worry for too many years.
