My Fasciculations Worsened: Soleus Muscle!

A few days ago, I said I had had no fasciculations in lower legs so far (during 6 years!). Yesterday I also mentioned to my doctor that my fasciculations are not diffuse - affecting the same muscle in multiple places at the same time.Guss what? Today I woke up with diffuse fasciculations in my left leg. To make it worst, it is not the calf twitching rather than the soleus muscle. I see various twitches over the surface over my ankle, outer leg, but also from the inner side! Really ironic, dont you think? A bit scary as I am not used to having it like this..a few bundles twitching on the ankle, a few on the inner leg..

Is it possible there is some sort of brain/body connection that causes us to twitch or accelerate our twitching? I know when I consciously "think" and "worry" about my twitches I seem to notice them more. Whether they are more active or I am just perceiving them to be more active I cannot tell. I just have to trust my doctor who told me not to worry about them. 90 percent of my twitches are below the knees but that is where my mind is always focused. I wish I could help more. When you mentioned it to your doctor, perhaps your brain started to go into "alert" mode regarding your calves and that started a firestorm. I wish I could help more. If youve been twitching for 5 years, I think thats a darn good sign that its BFS.

It's gone the other way with me today .My calves which normally twitch 24/7 have been calmer ,but my pectoral been twitching away like a good un.BFS eh ,crazy stuff .!
