My 17 Year Battle with Low Back Pain

I have been trying to cope with a very serious flare up in my condition since March when I underwent a spinal endoscopy to alleviate low back pain. I have a long and complicated 17 year history of this bizzare disorder. most of the details of which I will leave for other posts. It is not a happy story as I'm sure many of you reading this can also state. I do not type well so communicating this way is a laborious & cumbersome effort but undoubtedly I'll get better with practice. Now to my most pressing problems, about a week after I underwent the spinal endoscopy I experienced a very serious increase in muscle pains in my legs. continue to have an exacerbation of this problem although not nearly as bad as the first three weeks post procedure. Has anyone else experienced anything similar to me. For the past six months I have also had a continuous sore throat, not a lumpy feeling but redness with white patches which is accompanied by increased myalgia and fatigue. Cultures are negative & antibiotics of no help. Anyone else have this? Thanks,Anne

have you been tested for lyme? I know the sore throat/fatigue/muscle pain can be caused by this. After my spinal tap I had severe back muscle pain and twitching. What do they do for a spinal endoscopy?

EBV (Ebstein Barr Virus), which causes Mononucleosis, will cause redness and white patches on the throat along with fatigue and occasionally muscle pains. However, it would be unusual for it to last this long.

I ask because alot of your sxs are a very common adverse drug reaction to cipro. I truly believe all my problems started after a rx of cipro. Here are a couple of sites that you may want to visit.


Go to the email forum and do a search on your sxs. You will be probably be shocked.

I couldn't believe the list of problems that people have from these drugs. After over a year of suffering, I'm a believer. Please look into this because if you are having adr's to these drugs you need to know for the future.
