Mitral Valve Prolapse a benign heart murmur has been linked to muscle twitching. If my eyes were NOT burning so dang bad I'd post all I had but however I am about to post a URL to the MVP site in where you can see people conversate and the two correlate. My mom and both aunts and one cousin and myself have been dx'd with Mitral Valve Prolapse. It has also been known to exxaberate anxiety. Again it is a benign condition but it can cause a lot of stress and panic attacks and rushes to the ER because you "think your dying"..Here is the link of people discussing their MVP and twitching. These people have no other concern with their fasciculations except maybe one whom said I FEARED I had a neuromuscular disease but then stated her neuro cleared her of that.I am not one for digging for the cause of a benign condition BUT since Im up late and theres been frantic post lately..what the heck.Best regards, PregnantNhappy aka InkedMama

They said I had this for years MVP - tried to make me take antibiotics for every little thing and then - 2 years ago I go to a cardiologist and she said I don't have it. Just low blood pressure - eat more salt she says. OMG would you people make up your mind? One day I have a terrible murmur and blah blah blah and then 8 years later I'm OK. Chalked it up to better tech equipment (carotid ultrasound). THIS is exactly why we shouldn't stop trying to figure out where our symptoms are coming from - medical science will one day get a new technology and dx us with whatever.....
