Muscle Twitching and Forearm Pain

Dear all,

1. When someone twitches in the forearm and/or feet fairly frequently then does it usually happen in more than one muscle ? (I know the hotspots are benign but what worries me is that I am twitching in 3-5 places - not simultaneously but sequentially here and there).

2. When fascics. or pain is in the forearm - do you sometimes feel that the grip is not as good ?

Anyone with experiences above please reply - I had a pretty bad night so could use some support in the form of answers to these questions.

Hotspots can be in more than one muscle w/me too. I don't think that means anything ominous. I've had perceived weakness in muscles that twitch and have always had a grip problem.

Hi StephG22,

First of all, many thanks for replying (AS ALWAYS !!!!)

What I was trying to say was that I know hotspots are benign (if these were hotspots I wouldn't worry).

The problem is that these not quite behaving like hotspots (i.e. rapid fires or regular interval). These are random twitches that are happening more frequently in a few muscles (more than usual random and more muscles).

Also, do you get pain in the forearm when you twitch (which is perhaps what gives a perception of weakness ??)

Thanks and Regards,
Sanjay.
