Muscle Aches with BFS?

Hi Everyone!

I am a bit confused. Can BFS actually cause muscle aches that are not cramps? There is an intermittent dull ache in my left tricep muscle area that has been there for about about 6 weeks. As far as I know, I never injured that area. It does not feel like cramps where there is muscle tightening.

This areas twitches intermittently (couple times a day) but not always when there is any pain or ache. Is this consistent with BFS? Can BFS cause random and/or long term consistent muscle aches in our bodies?

On another front, my right leg continues to "feel" weaker than my left leg. As I posted earlier, this leg is asymmetrical (smaller) in size and is not as developed in muscle tone. So in essence it is actually weaker in strength. Of course, I am not sure whether this has always been the case or whether I just noticed it due to my fear with ALS.

But like many of you, I struggle with whether this "weakness" has any significance and whether this might be early onset of ALS.

I have another neuro appt. on Tuesday and I think I will ask for an EMG. When I met with him a few weeks ago, he gave me a quick physical neuro exam and thought I was ok.

This is really a frightening experience and I must say that I am living with what most of you term as "health anxiety."

Last but not least, thanks to so many of you for this wonderful forum/board. It brings me some comfort even through these tough times.
