associationunfortunately there are different types of neurological diseases that can affect different areas of the body and especially with regard to mnd disease the symptoms can vary to a great degreeso what is the problem with some of us twitcherswell we get a sore throat we think bulbarwe trip over we think limb onsetwe bite our tongue or cheek we think bulbarwe struggle with the shopping bags we think limb onsetwe have mucus in the throat we think bulbarwe get a cramp in the hand we think limb onsetwe go hoarse we think bulbarour leg feels bit stiff we think limb onsetwe pronounce a word wrong we think bulbarour finger moves involunarily we think limb onsetfood gets stuck in the back of the thoat we think bulbar etc etc etcyou know what a non-twitcher thinks when s/he experiences these things, not very muchyou know what a person (even a twitcher) who hasn't googled endlessly about motor neuron diseases thinks about these things, not very muchyet some of us here are trapped in this ultra damaging and self-destructive thought pattern that all these weird eccentric odd things that can affect the body on a given day are always associated with the twitches and therefore associated with something sinisterif you want the label bfs then take it, if you want the label anxiety then take it - but maybe just maybe it could be fairly harmless stuff that happens to a lot of people that also happens to worried twitchers who overthink it, focus on it, stress out and make it more powerful than it deserves to beI am guilty of all these self-crimes too and trying to repair the mind's reaction to this stuff
