Migraines: Experiences & Solutions

Shortly after I got up this morning, I developed a migraine aura so I popped a couple Tylenol and went back to bed (after calling in sick to work). The aura was pretty flashy, which usually means a bad headache but it wasn't very bad and didn't last long. I've observed a marked decrease in my bfs over the past couple days and I'm just wondering how many others on here have migraine too? Have you noticed any correlation between migraine and bfs symptoms? When I started having migraine in college, I noticed the headaches seemed highly correlated with sinus congestion. They're also correlated with stress and weather changes (been very damp here the past few days).

I too suffer from ocular migranes. I guess I'm very fortunate however since I get the aura, but 90% of the time never get the headache. I lose my vision slowly in my left eye, and it gradually comes back. The whole process takes about 20 - 30 minutes. I don't think there is any connection between BFS and the aura (at least for me) since I've been having having the aura migraines since I was 12 years old. I'm now 37 (38 in less than 48 hrs :) ) and my twitching only started back in April.

Interesting thread--I've had my first migraines this last year (seemingly triggered by sinus congestion according to my doc). Don't know if it's related--but both migraines and BFS seemed to hit me around the same time.

I had several ocular migraines around 7 years ago and never had another one until about a month ago. I had two two days in a row with no head ache. I have had the ocular symptoms with head aches about 3 times in my life. I think maybe stress of this crap brought them on when I had them a couple of months back.
