you asked about BFS going away.
I used to post here under the name Rich Longer.I have forgotten my log-on passowrd - I don't need it now. But I can only post in this forum as a guest.
My symptoms are more or less gone after 18 months +
They came back for a week or so when a friend died (cancer). But most days I am now free of twitching, pain and fatigue. And my symtoms were at one time quite severe. I found nothing at all helped the symptons themselves. And certainly not SSRIs.
I hope your symtoms also get better. I don't know how long they last normally and nor did my neurologist. I think it can be a very long time for many people. I think the key is in first having the neurological examination and tests etc to show that it is nothing serious or treatable and then you learn to live with it. If it goes its a bonus. If not - well it could be a great deal worse. At least you know its nothing serious.
Best wishes
Rich
