Since nobody else can come up with an explanation I am beginning to come to the conclusion that my tongue twitching is connected with some probable event in my neck, since my tongue twitches on one side, and that is the same side where I experience a lot of stiffness in my neck and shoulder, and where most of the twitching in my face occurs.
I think just because you have general twitching that is caused by BFS does not rule out that you might not also have particular twitching caused by something else.
I just wish I could get an MRI to discover what is going on in my neck because I know something is. That is the problem, the Dr and the physio I saw are happy to agree that something is going on in my neck which is a good enough reason not to go for an expensive MRI which will only confirm the obvious, at least that seems to be the logic of it all, which does not particularly please me.
