Managing BFS Twitches

Hi everyone I have been told today by my doc that my twitching is bfs so I feel like now I know what it is I can finally try and forget about it my twitches are mainly in one spot above my lip but can get the odd strong one in leg and eyes the worst bit is when I smile it triggers it off so it's really hard to forget about it been trying all day, I was wondering if anyone has any hints or tips to help forget about them or how long it took for it not to bother you as much. For weeks I have been thinking the worse like most people ms, ALS but now I know my doc is sure it's nothing to worry about I just want to get on with my life and stop it from spoiling everything I do thank you xxxx

Hi!This may sound trivial and obvious, but: Stop reading about twitching on the Internet. Take this site as evidence that there are lots of people with fasciculations and get on with your life. Don't read the stories of other people worrying here, it will make your own anxiety worse in the long run.I wish I could do that.

Hey snoopy, I'm a nine month twitcher.. Best advice I can give u....don't DR GOOGLE...don't research twitches....believe what your dr has told u and u will be fine....keep busy, relax, dance, sing and live...and above all don't stress about benign twitches..... :D)
