HiI"m using Lyrica since long time . I did an experiment.I lowered the med down to 100mg.Then ... i became a wreck. Everything increased drastically mainly painful symptoms.So I'm back to my dosage.The result is ... use that med! :confused: Good luck
 
Yes Pregabalin is a very respected medication an anticonvulsant by design, but it made me feel ill. Most medication does unfortunately. If I am ever prescribed anything I am always given a low dose. I am pleased you have found something that helps you.regards
 
Hi... ive been taking lyrica for about a month h now. .. i am on a total of 2 x 150 mg a dayThe jury is still out with me. What is your usual dose?
 
Generally the dose is up to 3 -400 mg daily but can go up to 600mg daily. Sometime used in conjunction with duloxetine ,sold under the brand names Cymbalta to help with some pain conditions + depression/ anxietyRegards
 
Im not sure about it Martin... in the last month my symptoms have increased, but the feeling of anxiety has improved slightly. CAtch 22 Martin.
 
I am not sure about anything anymore :rolleyes: If you could see what I have seen as a result of medication used in the psychiatric field, my God honestly. It's all a bit like baking a cake you put your stuff in and mix it around, sometimes it comes out nicely then sometime not. So many personal factors or wild cards at play. Now that comes from a lecturer psychiatrist while training!!! Not my words at all :eek: But saying that I know some people within the system I see regularly that have been on meds for years and swear by them. I guess you take your pick!regards
 
Edema is one of the issues. I think there might something on the box about that. If you want to check out any medication go to BNF.org that's where your health care professionals go too. An interesting site?? No! dull as ditch water :LOL:
