Yes, I had one done at the Cleveland Clinic. It is best to lay flat for 24hrs
after listen when they tell you this. I did not and paid dearly with the
worst headache of my life. I did walk to the car after the procedure thats
fine but then you need to lay flat once you get home.

Here is a tip from a radiologist friend of mine. Make sure you ask that the lumbar puncture be performed using "floroscopy". That way the area they are puncturing can be visualized. If not it's a hit and miss situation.
