Low Mercury in Wild Pacific Salmon

While many oily fish do contain mercury, salmon doesn't have much of it. According to , salmon is very low in mercury, with 1/25th the mercury of tuna. If mercury is a concern, avoid shark, king mackerel, tuna, and grouper. Just be sure to get wild Pacific salmon if possible, since farmed salmon often has organic toxins in it, such as PCBs.

I too was found to have high levels of lead and mercury..with a urine test which is supposedly more reliable then the hair analysis. I am in the middle of chelation therapy using DMSA orally as I don't have the time or money to do it IV...
I'll let you know what happens...it takes many months...Lynn
