Living with Unexplained Illnesses

LOL !!Got to love it. Infectious Disease doctor wanted nothing to do with me when he saw the clean MRI and clean EMG and negative Lyme PCR test and normal Diabetes glucose tests. He was visibly annoyed. I told him its a pretty common condition to have all of this going on, and have absolutely no explanation. Told him there are thousands of people online dealing with this. He was thoroughly surprised. Doc: "What? Where are these people? Are you sure this isnt conjecture on their part? Is it verified?"Me: "Well theyve got clean test results and youtube videos of their legs twitching like mad. Its a real thing. They call it BFS. Its mentioned on Neurology sites."Doc: "I dont know. Listen, I hope you dont get offended by this statement. And im not calling you crazy ... buuttttt....... I think maybe you should try to focus a little less on what you THINK is happening to you " ....I just smiled. I expect very little from doctors anymore. Let alone an actual education. Fortunately my Neuro is aware of BFS and will be tracking my progress. When I got in my car I texted the comment to my buddy............................................................ -BFSB-

Yeah that doctor obviously was clueless about our condition, but he did offer sound advice "I think maybe you should try to focus a little less on what you THINK is happening to you." Yes, what is happening to us is real (not in our thoughts) but removing focus is the key getting past this mentally.

most doctors dont know what BFS is. go to a nueroligist if you want. however, its a waste of time. there is no pill that will cure bfs. working out calms all my twitches for the most part.
