Leg Numbness After Years - BFS?

So it's been years and obviously I don't have ALS, and i've had 2 MRI scans (and no real weakness). So i've pretty much concluded it's BFS (which it's really not that "bad") besides my thumb twitches and Arm Spasms. However I notice, especially when sitting. My legs will go numb (usually left but sometimes right). When I stand up it goes away.......otherwise no weakness or anything and I feel fine.Do BFS'ers go numb easier than others? or maybe get nerve compression easier? Or is this unrelated.

Hi, Mercfh, it is so common - sitting numbness, even without BFS. t is not only neural but circulatory too. I need to sit 5 minutes on my leg to get it numb. Waliing a bit extra a day usually helps ;)

I get hands 'falling asleep' at night in bed, mostly left hand but right one sometimes and also my right foot keeps going asleep, I didnt have this before the twitching and other symtoms of BFS started so can only assume it is part of itI dont understand either whyIf anyone does it would be good to know, I ask my neuro but he said that it seems strange that I have the twitching, hands and feet going numb but yet there is no entrapment of ulnar nerveAre we more sensitive/have nerves irriated more, perhaps if someone on here knows they could share the answer as I find all of this quite bewildering at times
