Left Side Leg and Arm Pain

AS i stated in a previous post. I have had left leg and arm pain for almost a year now. It seems to come and go, sometimes i feel good almost normal and more times it aches and pains. Just wondering if thats the way it is for most people on the one side. I've had the twitching all over but this seems all on the left side. My leg feels painy numb feeling at times like circulation issues. Everything is very sporadic, you feel certain things for like a month or more then they disappear. I used to get leg cramps knock on wood but they have been gone for months. Stuff like that you know.

Hey blue, I have the same feeling as though it's a circulation issue in both my arms (no legs *so far*) but have the (cramping?) pain in both feet and hands on and off. My left hand also used to feel extremely numb but that's very intermittent lately. My foot pains stopped for a couple of weeks but then started up again unfortunately. Currently trying out magnesium/calcium/vitamin D to see if those might have any effect but nothing yet.Have you been to see any doctors yet? What have they said about it all?If you haven't already, I'd suggest going to a myotherapist (medical massage therapist). After getting my shoulder/tricep/bicep massaged, I get this rush of heat as though the blood has been kicked back into my arm. You might see a similar result with your leg? It seems to invariably go back within a few days but the short term relief is so reassuring.

Mine unilaterlal numbness in arm and leg was lasting for quite a lot (I think at least for a year or even longer, sometimes intermittent) before i decide to go to neuro. (Un)Fortunately it subsided right before the doctors office door and poor neuro could find only slight 'residual paresthesia of socks-gloves like pattern due to supposed unilateral transitory brain ishemia'. I had some confirmed circulation issues in my neck and I still had some swollen extremities (anlke at the affected side) at the moment of exams otherwise she probably would not believe me ;).I was prescribed with alot of certain drugs believed to improve brain circulation and I took them for 2 month or so, and I took massage, and eventually I never had that symptomes again (instead in few years I developed BFS, haha). I also had severe flareups of sudden dizziness at the time of my hand and leg symptomes (but not now).I have and had cramps in legs and deltoids on both sides for i can not remember how many years (sometimes so prominent that I can not enjoy my family life properly) and never considered them as sisnister (because my mom also has them for quite a years and years)By the way my neck circulation did not improved according to the latest Doppler US, which is not strange considering I am typical home office worm and getting older as all of us ;)))so your case might be most likely related to blood circulation. the fact your both leg and arm are affected is a kind of confirmation of that theory IMO, and unilateral nature just means that you probably have spinal artery circulation impaired on the OTHER side of your neck (if your left side is affected then your right spinal artery or vein might have some circulation issues).Check that and have a good resolution of the issue, regardsyulia
