Left Leg Twitching: Is it ALS?

Okay I thought I was over it, but I just read that ALS can have muscle cramping, I did not know that! For a last couple of weeks, in the morning before I get up, if I move my feet a certain way, I will get a cramp in my calf. Does not last long but if I dont move a certain way I don't get it and it is only in the morning before I get up. Well my left leg has been twitching a feel strange and this morning, I did not move any way that I am aware of and I got a charley horse type cramp in my calf. It really hurt but went away quickly and that was it. When does cramping show up in ALS? I have been doing the testing, walking on heels and toes, jumping on one foot and kinds of stupid pet tricks and don't notice any weakness. My leg felt great yesterday, but today toes are milding twitching and it just feels weird at times. Anyone else get cramps? Should I be worried? And just when I thought I was okay!

Cramping is also common with bfs. You may be aggitating your muscles by doing all of these strength tests.

Live in the present moment. Worrying about things that are unlikely will kill you before anything...
