Left Hand Muscle Loss

My left twitching finger and "drumbstick" is still cramping, but served me well,( strength wise ) all last week during heavy gardening. Back to the keyboard today and I cannot control that finger~!

Today, my doc noticed "minor" muscle loss in the left hand /affected area, but clocked it up to my having worn an elastic "hand-ease " support glove for two years. ( almost like a girdle).

2 yrs 4 mos since first fasiculations followed by pain and he put me on Gabapentin - this seems NOT to knock out the immediate pain, but looks like I need to wait weeks for overall relief?

Any experiences with /input on Gabapentin would be appreciated.

Thanks for your help.

Sincerely,

Greg

neurontin has proven mostly ineffective for BFS sufferers.. even my neurologist said its worthless and a waste of money,... you might want to try LYRICA,, its the new neurontin.... it does work for BFS symptoms.
