Left Foot Fasiculations and Cramps

These are pictures of my feet were the left in some places is just skin and bone. Also the toes are much weaker on the left foot, and sometimes, especially when it`s cold I`m unable to move them at all.

I have fasiculations primarily in my left calf varying from almost absent to "massive". They are constant except sometimes when I`m very relaxed. I also experience lots of cramps. It`s so obvious because the my right leg is same as it`s always been. I`ve had the fasiculations for three years now, at first migrating over my entire body but without being bothersome because they were so few. The last year and a half however they`ve started bothering me getting worse during the period.

BUT, and this is why I thought seeing these pictures and hearing about my symptoms might comfort people - MY EMG WAS COMPLETELY CLEAN!!!!!

Hey-

The pictures of your feet really ring home to me. I have had consistant twitches in my left foot EXACTLY where yours seems to pull in past the middle pad. These have been going on for almost 2 years now and my Neuro said that an emg in the foot is almost pointless because I am flat footed and can have positive results. I have had 2 clean emg's and am going to see the neuro tomorrow. I told him about my left foot pulling in in the EXACT spot yours is! Mine is not as pronounced as yours, but it looks different. About 6 months ago the neuro did tell me that each foot can form differently and I had "strong muscles in my feet". Keep me updated, do yo have twitches right in that area of your foot? I do 24/7.

Update. For quite some time now I`ve had problems with both fecal and urinary incontinence (meaning I`ve been going around being afraid of peeing og crapping my trousers). So in june I went to the doctor and demanded an MR(i?). He said OK :)So I went to the examination and they found a tumour 1,4x1,8 cm located very strategically right belov the spinal cord. Or as it went, my doctor called me when I was fishing with my son and said they had found "something" and I had to go back to take some more pictures with contrast dye. A few days after that my doctor called me and told me I had to come see him.I don`t think anyone has been so happy being told they have a tumour!!!I was operated september 21. The operation was very successfull and the tumour was benign, although as it turns out the fasiculations was not. Now I`m to take it easy for some time, enjoying fishing and living life while my back heals:-)So bevare people - being told your fasiculations are benign does not mean they are. Make sure you go to all relavant examinations before you make yourself at peace......
