Learning to Ignore Twitches and Cramps

Happy to report I'm less obsessed with the twitching. I'm learning to ignore them as I don't stop and observe them like I used to. I can't remember the last time I've counted them per minute, which has been truly beneficial for my overall well being :) Last night I experienced a terrible foot cramp that caused my big toe to be pulled sideways from my other toes. When I looked at it my foot was twitching ++. I've experienced mild cramps before but never this extreme. I'm curious if others have experienced a foot cramp like this?

Yes Donnastar, I have had strong foot and calf cramps for many years prior to this twitching that started a few months ago. Strangely, I've had less since the twitching started, but I had a mild one today. My mother has also had strong foot and calf cramps for many years, she is now almost 74. Hers seem to be getting worse and now she gets them even up in her thigh, often in the middle of the night awakening from sleep. Thankfully not every night. Seem to happen in spurts, never more than two per week or three per month, then many months without any.

Oh, yeah!!! I get crazy cramps in my feet and toes. Sometimes my toes will spread involuntarily. They'll just "fan out" while I'm lying in bed. Very weird and very painful. I also get super-painful cramps in my toes when I'm driving. I've actually had to pull over, get out of my car and go for a walk to alleviate this condition at times. Very disturbing.
