Large Amount of Liquor and Twitches?

Has anybody else drank a large amount of liquor and noticed that the twitches were gone? I did this once and noticed that my twitching stopped, I was just wondering if anybody else had experienced this.

I've also noticed that if I have a glass of wine or beer my symptoms seem to disappear. I'm not sure if its just that I'm more relaxed and don't notice the twitching and cramping. Too bad it gives me such a bad headache......

Drinking reduces the symptoms, at least they are not noticed, the only problem is the morning after any heavy drinking the symptoms are at there worst, I think it is the dehydration

i agree with that-- i had 2 big glasses of wine last night and woke up ( in my daughters bed- she was in ours :) ...;lol ) with a HORRIBLE cramp-- the dehydation sent me into the worry sphere so into the med cabinet i went for my klonopin-- i only take half of my dose and it seems to do the trick-- anyway, spent the whole day being sleepy and lazy and fairly relaxed.. but the dehydration sure isnt my friend...

I have totally noticed that as well. My symptoms virtually disappear when I am drinking, but the morning after they are terrible. Not sure the cause, but NOT fun. I'm not gonna give up drinking, but the twitches are crazy!

well i should clear things up, I did not have an increase of twitching symptoms in the morning but I did feel a vibration through my body, which was really bad. This is another symptom of my anxiety, I have felt it before and it dissapeared but i just got it when i woke up after a day of heavy drinking, has anybody else had these morning shakes?
