Knee Reflex Loss - Expierencing Worries?

Two doctors have said that I have almost no knee reflex (or Babinski). Should I be concerned? I have a hx of Fibromyalgia and some nerve impingement in my c-spine. Has anyone else had this finding?? Thanks.

I am having some anxiety over this. Granted, she did tap very lightly with the hammer, but my foot barely moved. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks

I am unfamiliar with your symptoms but - A Decreased patellar reflex; Sensation loss of the anterior thigh; Weakness in quadriceps muscle; Pain in the area of the anterior thigh - All associated with Nerve Root L3.Source: Ask your doctor. Hope you feel better.Regards

Thanks for the reply. I have tingling and a feeling of weakness in the left calve. Right now I'm seeing an ortho who suspects there could be lumbar issues, and he wants he to begin PT this coming week. I do have cervical radiculopathy as well. I am sincerely hoping these are causing most of my symptoms. Thanks again

i would only worry about it if your docs are worried about it....minus that, no reason to worry.
