Journey with Ulnar Neuropathy:2007-2020

When this started back in August 2007, I had no idea it would go on this long. It started off with tingling fingers and now...well, what do I NOT have???I go into hospital tomorrow to have my Ulnar nerve "decompressed" I hope this will stop the pain I get in my left hand as I was diagnosed with an Ulnar Neuropathy. I have my appointment on 21st next month with a new neuro to go over my other symptoms. The arm that has the Ulnar neuropathy is the same arm that I have the scars from my motorbike accident in 2000. I do have some atrophy in that arm from the accident, well, I hope that is the cause. The NCV found no other issues on that arm, despite the atrophy. I do note that the muscle behind the elbow on that arm moves around a great deal. Not like a twitch, more like a complete muscle movement!!!!! Anyone else get that?This has been a long long road and it is not over yet. I hope the neuro next month will shed some light on all this.....The tingling, the pain, the shock like feelings, dead hands at night, stiff legs, fatigue, tremor like feelings and burning sensations...are driving me insane!!!!!

Hmm the muscle you are referring to is the triceps, right? I once had a hotspot in that one and it really was very visible, even through my jacket... It seems that the triceps jerks a lot for some reason when affected by twitching, it shouldn't be anything nasty however.

Well twitching can occur there as well, actually it can occur anywhere. And it usually depends on the muscle how strong the twitch actually is and how you perceive it.
