Can anyone that knows anything about her story tell us anything that would make us feel good. What I read said she had trouble getting up the day her sister noticed the worms in her legs. Then two weeks later in the doc office she couldn't get off the floor without help. I will not read the book because it would scare me, I know it would but does anyone else know if she had other obvious symptoms very early on? Like spastic legs or something of that nature. I know she was sweating when she just did something as simple as walked or tried to do a sit up but I'm just wondering if anyone read the book and can allay some fears for people who have not had an EMG. I know her EMG was abnormal from day one but what else if anything does anyone know about her? Thank you. This is a great site although it has me somewhat worried again.
