Jaw/Neck Tension Symptoms Discussion

A symptom that I have had from time to time which is worse at the moment is a strange tight feeling in my jaw - it seems to come from the jawmuscles and is irritating me at the moment.

This combined with a tight feeling sometimes electric feeling in my neck is worrying me at the moment. I think others have reported similar symptoms but it would be comforting to hear others with similar issues.

I have the jaw tightness right now too. It's been bugging me a lot since yesterday. It feels like the jaw muscles are constantly pulling. I also have a feeling of pressure in the cheekbone/temple area. All of my face symptoms are always just on the right side.

I have a couple of herniated discs in the neck. My neck started bothering me more than usual the other day, so I've been wondering if the neck is causing the jaw tightness. It's the upper herniation that's bothering me right now, which is a right-sided herniation at C3-4. (The other one is a central herniation at C5-6.)

Is your jaw tightness on both sides, or just one? Do you have disc problems in your neck?
