Is Unusual Neck Cramp Normal?

I have BFCS symptoms system-wide, as do many on the forum, but one cramp is really unusual. Often times when I yawn, the strain provokes a howler of a cramp in what I suppose are the muscles of the neck that are involved in chewing and movement of the tongue. I have to massage the neck to get it to pass, which can be 5 or 10 seconds.Tell me this isn't unusual.

My neck has been cramping lately, but in the back. I'll admit, any new bodily sensation makes me nervous, but I've chalked it up to either weight-lifting or stress. The yawning thing is kind of funny :D)

"Tell me this isn't unusual."It is NOT unusual in my experience anyway. It's the tension - if you clench any muscle it can cramp. Try some relaxation and breathing techniques.
