Is Fasciculation in Calf a Bad Sign?

I've searched the forum and can find no difinitive answer on this one. If I hit my calf I can get it to fasciculate all the way down through my foot and toes.Please, can anyone tell me if this is a bad sign? Has anyone had this happen and still had a clean EMG?Becky

There is a post on u-tube where a member here video taped his fasciculations. He taps his calf to get them started. I can't remember if he had an EMG but I believe he had the symptoms for a long time with no worsening. If anyone has more details, please add them.Krackersones

Lots of people here have been able to do that. It means nothing if there is no associated weakness.

Thanks. I checked out the video and that's what I have going on. Not a bit of weakness that I can discern. Believe me, I do allll the strength tests This board is saving my life this week. Thanks to you all!

Twin i dont need to hit mine they dont need wakening up My video is up there under aquatimer 3 years now no weakness just a pain in the @ss
