Hi all, is it a bad sign if twitches gets more and more worse over a couple of months. I am twitching since 11 months, since march my twitches gets worse in feet and calves up to now... Any words for reassuring? Please... because I do not know how to manage my weekend now... Thank you so much.

You are similar to me. There are a ton or resources on this website via the search box that will tell you that you are fine, but need to hear it "live". As many searches will tell you, after 11 months of twitching (no matter how frequent) and no clinical weakness it is highly, HIGHLY , unlikely to be MND. Enjoy your weekend.

Dear SparkleKid, thank you!!! I had bad days and weeks behind me and unfortunately I had read today, unvoluntarily, the wrong things... Thank you for your words.

Hi dearplease consider that twtching for 11 months without neurologicaldeficites mean you have just twitching. Nothing more.

Hi,We are almost in the same condition... I am 9 months into this twitching. You mustn't worry since there is no weakness.I am also regularly on a panic mode so i totally understand your feelings but you mustn't worry... 11 months is a long time.

Twitching is more or less the same. Some days better some days worse. But its spread everywhere in my body including the tongue. It is not continuous but i would feel it everyday at some point. Recently is more in the calves and feet

I joined this site 8 years ago, and back then my twitches were insane, literally. Constant, 24/7 twitches in my calves and feet. In those early days I struggled a lot and it seemed to make the twitches so much worse. If you read back through my posts in 2006 you will see what I was dealing with. But as the years have gone on, having relaxed a lot more after accepting that I am ok and nothing bad is happening to me, my twitches have definitely become less intense. They are still there 24/7, but not as ferocious as they were before. I genuinely feel that stress and anxiety only makes them worse.

So I guess what I wrote to a previous post makes sense. Lactic acid influences stress so twitching appears. Let us all make some research. Let's ask and measure the levels of lactid acid and ask our neuros

Over the last few days i am experiencing a strange pain on my right leg toes... It doesn't seem weaker, just painful when i press and push. Any ideas?

I'm on three months of twitching and no weakness with two clean EMGs before and after twitching. Am I clear or should I wait longer? Why do some people say it can take up to three years or more to be out of the woods?

Yes you are fine typically 8 months is required to catch any outliers but your taking about a rare outlier of a rare illness If you want to read more on this topic search "fasiculstions prior to MNd" It's been discussed at length Thanks

I have to say thank you to all they have answered my cry for help in the meanwhile. Thank you guys for your words. It is so extreme to deal with that condition, i wish it gets better one day...
