Horizontal Lines in Thumb Nails

So yesterday I was doing something and realized that I have horizontal lines in both thumb nails (more prominent in rt thumb & rt first finger). They are depressions, and aren't white. However, I very much do remember having them on and off throughout my life though but never thought of anything.. They aren't crazy bad but they are definitely there... Has anyone else had this?? Left hand only on the thumb & first finger but very minimal on the finger, none on rest of the nails. I really hate google for what it's done to my sanity but I googled it and everywhere I found is that HORIZONTAL isn't normal. My thigh is kinda burning right now and it's irritating the crap outta me, does feel better when I stand but still have all the twitching. Sometimes the twitching seems to completely disappear or be very mild. I was really nervous earlier and then it started going again and then now has lessened... I really hate this crap! I don't want to feel like I'm dying or have the worst disease that I can fathom!! :( I just wish I was a kid again!! :(

just googled out of curiosity! I don't have horizontal lines but I read a good amount about them! doesn't mean u have a disease, says it can be a vitamin deficiency or something simple along those lines. Just mention it to ur dr, try not to stress it's prob nothing. interesting to read about

Nope, it means nothing really bad, just, as a colleague said above, some vitamine deficiency, most probably. Our nails condition are seldom related to our neurological conditions, rather to our liver and stomach :)

I have too strange nails - nearly white (my lunula is not visible, it is the same color), vertical lines and white spots but all my tests remaining perfectly normal..nobody knows what is wrong with it..

It's Interesting... I just wish I just knew this was something really simple, lol. Wishful thinking I guess!!! But it is a but odd I guess!!! I would LOVE. Twitch free day.... :) that would make me so happy!!
