Help! Weird Pains in Hand

Hello, I'm getting some weird pains in my right hand lately. It began yesterday with my middle finger feelinf locked. Now my middle and ring finger hurt. It feels like a cramp, painful joint finger that is extending to my palm now. It hurts to bend my fingers and move them around. I'm worried it's the start or continuing of something sinister.

Maybe arthritis!! Weakness, NOT pain.... Joints are not affected in MND. Have NEVER been mentioned for pain as being an onset symptom from ALL the stuff I've read from good resources.

Hi Missi, It's scary because coupled with the twitches I'm getting worried. I've heard of cramping in _ _ _ so that's why it's worrying me. My hand is starting to feel disabled, like I can't use it the same.

I had the same thing the first several months that I had BFS. The weird thing was that it would switch fingers. One day it would be the index and the next the thumb. It was all very random, but it was all a just another part of the BFS experience.

Hi MikeIt's horrible because it feel's like my knuckle has to crack, that kind of pain. Everytime I experience something new it scares me so much.

HI, darling, it is rather normal in BFS to have such pains, it happens maybe in every one of us. There might be two reasons for this - twitching as a muscle activity causing exausting ans stress in the joints and our immune system lability, causing some slight joint inflammation.In both cases it would subside with the time.

You're fine, I've read some true stories & not one of them mentioned pain or cramping, thats a way later symptom from what I've read. Heck I always have pains, read my thread a few weeks ago about my tired leg & the strained feeling. I know what you're going through, I am still walking and the tiredness with my leg comes & goes, it's just with the territory!!
