All,It's been awhile since I posted but I'm lurking a lot. For anyone new on this board, the great people who post here talked me down off the ledge about 18 months ago, and helped me see that I had BFS, and not anything worse. After an early EMG with equivocal results that I me in a high state of anxiety, I had an EMG by an expert who found everything to be normal, with previous anomolies explained by an old back injury.Since Oct 2007 I've had on and off twitching, mainly in the calves, but nothing that would bother me in the least. What prompted me to write today was 3 days ago, the bend of my left arm, between biceps and forearm, started twitching non-stop. And not only non-stop, but big thumpers that can be seen by someone across the room. I keep waiting for them to stop, but as of this writing they have not. I needed to go back and read "BFS in a Nutshell" to remind myself that for the first time in a long while, I had developed the classic "hot spot". Does it bother me? Heck yeah. But because of this board and because of "BFS in a Nutshell", and because I continue to work out as usual, I know it's a hot spot, not anything to get worked up about. I guess what I'm also saying is that I thought I had BFS licked, except for occassional calf twitches. I now realize that it can come back with a vengance whenever it feels like. I also appreciate how great the resources and support on this Board are.
