Help for Anxiety: BFS vs. MS

Hi all,
I had posted my story under "Questions about BFS" and don't know if that was the way to go. If anyone has time to spare to read it and give me their thoughts, the more the merrier. I need as much reassurance as I can get right now, otherwise I'm sure to become addicted to Valium with all this anxiety. It's titled BFS vs. MS (or worse)....Freaking out
Thanks so much,
Sue

Hi Sue, I did your survey, but didn't add a post. I agree with what the others have said, and that you need NOT continue to freak out (but we know the deal). If you're not happy with the neuro exam she gave you, you can always go back and have someone else do one, but you MUST stop freaking out. There is not a single symptom that you've described that many people have not had, or that I personally have not had (13.5 months of twitching everywhere, numbness, tingling, aching, etc.). Also, realize that although benign, BFS does cause real and crazy symptoms (likely made worse by anxiety), so you can expect new twitches to show up, getting hot spots that stay in one area for days, or weeks, etc. Stop worrying, and I'm wishing you a speedy "freak out recovery." ;)
